THERE IS AN Increased Demand For Skill Building Materials
Women and girls are making good use of Homiri WGFS and are benefiting a lot from the skill building training and psychosocial support, which led to an increased demand for more skill building materials and training. Women and girls come from as far as Thuguro Boma in Nagishot Payam, Napeb in Ngauro Payam, Locioto in Loudo Payam, Lorema in Lotukei Payam. The number has been increasing each day, and so, has the demand for beads, bed sheet, cotton pearls and others have increased.
The activities taking place at Homiri WGFS included, but not limited to the following:
- Bead making,
- Bed-sheet making and decoration
- Hand bag making,
- Table cloth making,
- Making cereemi/Traditional attire
- Liquid and bar soap making
- Skirt-making,
- Calabash making and decoration
- Recreational activities,
- Etc
